Short version: Multenix collects only what it needs to run your account and your website. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. What you build on Multenix is yours.
1. Who We Are
Multenix ("Multenix", "we", "us", "our") is a multi-tenant website and business management platform that enables businesses, schools, hotels, and other organisations to create and manage their online presence. Our platform is operated from Nigeria and serves users globally.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Give Us
Account information: name, email address, phone number, organisation name, and password (stored encrypted using bcrypt).
Organisation details: business name, type (school, hotel, church, business), and website content you create sections, images, descriptions, and design settings.
Payment information: when you subscribe, your payment is processed entirely by Paystack. Multenix does not store your card number, bank account details, or any raw payment credentials. We only store a Paystack transaction reference and your subscription status.
Uploaded files: logos, background images, section images, and any other media you upload to your Multenix tenant.
Communications: messages you send us via email or support channels.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Session data: login timestamps, session tokens (stored server-side, not in third-party cookies).
Usage logs: pages visited within your admin panel, actions taken (section created, design saved, etc.), for audit and security purposes.
IP address: collected at login for security monitoring and fraud prevention. Not used for advertising.
Browser and device type: collected for compatibility and error reporting only.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not use third-party advertising trackers (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags) on your admin panel.
We do not collect biometric data.
We do not build advertising profiles of our users.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
Paystack: your payment is processed by Paystack (paystack.com), a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. They receive billing details necessary to complete your transaction.
Hosting infrastructure: our servers and database are hosted on secured cloud infrastructure. Server operators have access to infrastructure only and are contractually bound to confidentiality.
Legal requirement: if required by a valid court order or Nigerian law enforcement directive, we may disclose the minimum data legally required.
Business transfer: in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to a successor entity, and you will be notified in advance.
5. Data Storage and Security
All passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage.
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Database access is restricted to authenticated application servers only.
CSRF tokens are required for all form submissions.
Session data expires automatically and is stored server-side.
Uploaded files are stored in tenant-isolated directories.
Despite our security measures, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@multenix.com.
6. Data Retention
Active accounts: data retained for the duration of your subscription.
Cancelled accounts: data retained for 90 days after cancellation to allow reactivation, then permanently deleted.
Payment records: retained for 7 years to comply with Nigerian financial regulations (FIRS).
Audit logs: retained for 12 months.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information via your account settings.
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
Export your website content and account data upon request.
Object to processing for purposes beyond running your account.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@multenix.com with the subject "Data Rights Request".
8. Cookies
Multenix uses only essential, functional cookies:
Session cookies: to keep you logged in. Expire when you close your browser or after 24 hours of inactivity.
CSRF tokens: security cookies that prevent cross-site request forgery.
Setup wizard cookie: remembers if you have completed onboarding so we don't show it again.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
9. Children
Multenix is a business platform intended for adults (18+) and organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

By creating a Multenix account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding contract between you ("User", "you") and Multenix ("we", "us").
1. The Service
Multenix is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides:
Multi-tenant website creation and hosting under a unique subdomain/slug.
Business management tools (product management, QR codes, booking systems, etc.) tailored to your organisation type.
A website customiser with colour presets, section management, image uploads, and AI-assisted content generation.
Analytics, user management, and backup features.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the authorised representative of an organisation.
You must provide accurate registration information.
One organisation per account unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a limited free trial period (duration displayed on sign-up).
Trial accounts have full access to platform features.
Trial accounts may have their public websites displayed with a Multenix branding notice.
At trial expiry, access is restricted until a paid subscription is activated.
We may extend your trial at our discretion this is not guaranteed.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
4.1 Billing
Multenix is billed on a monthly recurring basis.
Payment is processed by Paystack, a third-party payment processor.
By subscribing, you authorise Paystack to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or USD equivalent depending on your location at checkout.
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.
4.2 Renewals and Cancellation
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the next billing date.
You may cancel at any time via your admin panel or by contacting support.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until that date.
There are no partial refunds for unused days in a billing period.
4.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you via email.
Access may be suspended after 3 failed payment attempts.
Your data is retained for 90 days after suspension before permanent deletion.
4.4 Refund Policy
We offer refunds in the following cases only:
Duplicate charges caused by a billing error on our end.
A charge made after a confirmed cancellation.
Platform unavailability exceeding 72 consecutive hours due to our fault.
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge to billing@multenix.com.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Multenix to:
Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or violates any third party's rights.
Distribute malware, phishing content, or deceptive material.
Impersonate another person or organisation.
Engage in activities that overload or disrupt our infrastructure.
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without written permission.
Use the platform for gambling, adult content, or any activity prohibited under Nigerian law.
Resell access to the Multenix platform without an official partnership agreement.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create on Multenix your text, images, and data.
By uploading content, you grant Multenix a limited licence to host, display, and deliver that content to visitors of your site.
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload (images, logos, text).
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for our own marketing without your explicit consent.
7. AI-Generated Content
Multenix includes an AI writing assistant to help generate website copy. You acknowledge that:
AI-generated content is a suggestion, not professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before publishing.
Multenix is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or legal issues arising from published AI-generated content.
8. Service Availability
We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Planned maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance where possible.
We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet infrastructure, force majeure, third-party services).
9. Intellectual Property
The Multenix platform, codebase, design system, and brand are the exclusive intellectual property of Multenix.
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or replicate the platform.
The Multenix name and logo may not be used without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Multenix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of business, revenue, or data.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
Upon termination, your public website will go offline immediately.
Your data will be retained for 90 days in a dormant state then permanently deleted.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts. For minor disputes, we encourage direct resolution through our support team first.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. You will be notified by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

Your payment what Paystack handles
When you pay for Multenix, your card details go directly to Paystack. Multenix never sees your card number, CVV, or bank PIN. We only receive a confirmation that your payment succeeded and a reference number. This is by design it is safer for you.
Paystack is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Their privacy policy is at paystack.com/privacy.

When you search for professional images inside Multenix, your search query is sent to the Pexels API to retrieve results. Multenix does not share any of your personal account data with Pexels. Search queries are not logged or stored after results are returned. Pexels images used on your site are subject to the Pexels Licence.
AI writing assistant
When you use the AI content assistant inside Multenix, your prompt text is sent to an AI language model API to generate content suggestions. This data is:

Not stored by Multenix beyond the session.
Not linked to your personal identity in any AI training pipeline.
Data breach response
If we ever discover a security breach that affects your personal data:
We will assess and contain the breach immediately.
We will notify affected users by email within 72 hours.
We will tell you what data was affected, what we are doing, and what you should do.
We will report to relevant authorities as required by law.
